Ian Hunter celebrates his fifth decade as one of Britain’s greatest rock ‘n’ rollers and finest living rock poets with this collection, comprising music recorded live at London’s Astoria in 2004. Accompanying Hunter (vocals, guitar, piano and harp) on material ranging the length and breadth of his near-40-year career is trusty sidekick Mick Ralphs (guitar, vocals), with superb additional instrumental assistance from Andy York (guitar, vocals), Ian Gibbons (keyboards), Steve Holley (drums, vocals) and Gus Goad (bass). It’s a great gig.
